In 2001 our Nation made an unbreakable promise never to forget the innocent Americans who we lost on 9/11.  It is not just the tragedy of September 11, 2001 that we must remember, but the feeling of unity that we felt on September 12, 2001.

We must remember the unity we felt as a country and as Americans and continue to uphold that promise of never forgetting.  This year, its message of hope, endurance and resilience are more important than ever. 

Let’s remember to be kind to each other.  Good things can be accomplished when you start by just being good to each other.
