Northeastern Supply celebrates opening in Chestertown
CHESTERTOWN — Northeastern Supply, a building materials distributor specializing in plumbing, HVAC, PVF and water systems segments for residential and commercial applications, held a “pipe-cutting” ceremony and official grand opening celebration on Oct. 30.
The Chestertown store is Northeastern Supply’s 20th location in Maryland. Nick Cook is the branch manager of the 10,000-square-foot retail facility located at 6401 Church Hill Road. The grand opening and pipe-cutting ceremony was open to the public. Local dignitaries, representatives from the Kent County Chamber of Commerce and other business leaders were in attendance for the celebration.
“It’s so great to be a part of the Chestertown community! We have a strong presence in Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and are proud to now welcome Chestertown into our growing Northeastern family,” said Steve Cook, CEO of Northeastern Supply, in a news release.
This event showcased a variety of vendors that Northeastern is supplying at Chestertown and all of its locations. Those vendors included but are not limited to: Ridgid Tools, Bradford White, Oatey, SAS Safety Corp., Goulds Water Technology, Liberty Pumps, Lasco Fittings, Apollo Valves, Lenox, Vortens, Aprilaire, American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning and Mitsubishi Electric.
Northeastern Supply has 35 locations across Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. The company also has two kitchen and bath showrooms — NE Design Studio — in Easton and Bel Air.
